THE TETRAD -- Part III

In my last post, I showed the connection between the Tetrad and the corresponding verses from the Bible and how both point to volcanic activity as the cause of the Earth rising above the waters. In this post, we will look at the astrological aspects of this day.

As you’ll recall, the Dyad was associated with the Sun, followed by the Triad which was associated with the Moon. You’ll notice that these days are following the order of the week, starting with Sunday, Moonday, and now we have the Tetrad, which falls on Tuesday.

Tuesday in French is Mardi, in Spanish it is Martes, in Italian it's Martedi, Mars Day, in other words.

Astrologically, Mars rules the signs Aries and Scorpio.

During the previous stage, we had two primary forms of life. Photosynthetic bacteria floated upon and within the water, while trilobites swam within the water, crawled on the ocean floor, as well as burrowed within the ocean mud. Astrologically, the photosynthetic bacteria was associated with the Sun, while the trilobite was associated with the Moon.

On this day, the land has risen from beneath the waters, carrying with it both forms of life. The scorpion is the earliest dry-land arthropod.

When we consider the animal associated with the sign of Aries, it is necessary to consider the time of the year that Aries is associated with, namely the beginning of spring, from March 20 to April 20. Also, the glyph itself has obvious similarity to the morphology of a seedling.

The Biblical text itself makes its first unencrypted reference to biological life during this stage:

11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
13 And the evening and the morning were the third day.
 (Gen 1:11-13 KJV)

Buckminster Fuller has also identified trees as living tetrahedrons:

“… The Earth revolves and the trees revolve as the radiation from the Sun's flame reaches the revolving planet Earth. By photosynthesis the green buds and leaves of the tree convert that Sun radiation into hydrocarbon molecules, which form into the bio-cells of the green, outer, cambium layer of the tree. The tree is a tetrahedron that makes a cone as it revolves. The tree's three tetrahedral roots spread out into the ground to anchor the tree and get water. Each year the new, outer-layer, green-tree cone revolves 365 turns, and every year the tree grows its new tender-green, bio-cell cone layer just under the bark and over the accumulating cones of previous years. Each ring of the many rings of the saw-cut log is one year's Sun-energy impoundment…”
